  1. I really want that camera!!!!!!!!

  2. witch one is better nikon d5000 or this camera?

  3. I’ve owned this cam a couple of weeks now & I have to say it is the cat’s meow.

As a cam in Canon’s consumer line (as opposed to their Pro-line) it is filled w/ bells & whistles & it has a lot of the same features as many of their pro cams. It’s fairly easy to understand from the get-go if you have any cam knowledge & the vid looks terrific. I was looking at the 50D & the vid on this sold me since so many of the features are the same. Who cares which “line” it’s classified as?

  4. Just know you want to start off w/ a large memory (mine’s 16 gig) CLASS 6 HDSD card of the vid might not work out properly. Most sites don’t tell you that & are pushing smaller Class 4 cards.

It’s very easy to work w/ if you have any cam knowledge at all but it also comes w/ a ton of information & you can DL more off the Canon site. I would choose this over the Nikon in a heartbeat. I didn’t buy mine at B&H, but I’ve shopped w/ them before & they are respectable & knowledgeable. Call them.

  5. I totally recomend Canon T1i instead of of the Nikon D5000. Same price, but T1i is 15mpx instead of 12mpx w/ nikon D5000

  6. nikon is the enemy

  7. MP dont really matter. 15.1 MP is only like 800 by 400 pixel more than 12.3 MP

  8. Def. not same price.
I would say that the 2 cameras are pretty equal.. They both have their ups and downs.

  9. D5000 rocks!

  10. i think your thinking of it 800 and 400 (something like that) more on each side which prorated is a lot more than what your saying

  11. I just bought this camara today! Love it!

  12. The difference between them will only be minimal in terms of image size. Both can print at A3 without problems. You’ll only notice a real difference if it’s 24mp compared to 12, which is *only* double the resolution.

  13. this is a great camera! :D

  14. i am going to get this so fast

  15. What about the Nikon D90? How does this rank up with that?

  16. It’s better.

  17. 20fps? deal breaker

  18. Can I zoom in manually or is it all automatic ?

  19. should i get this or the xsi?

  20. this camera can do 30fps at 720p
the d90 can only do 22 fps at 720p, and can’t do 1080.

  21. it can do 30 at 720p, that is the exact same resolution and frame rate as USA tv. (29.97 fps)

  22. @colorfulllllll
XSi can be found for 500$~ with the kits lens
Xsi if you don’t care about video
T2i for 899$ if you care about video.

T1i video is useless because it shoots in 1080p20 (Slow frame rate and none standard ) and you don’t have much of control over video while T2I offer you manual control for video and 1080p30 (Smooth frame rate)
