  6. both, and really both cameras are top notch. When i am looking at buying a new dslr, i only look at nikon and canon, nothing else. Go to a specialty camera store, not best buy or anything like that cause there all kids working there who know nothing, but go to a specialty store and take pictures with both, play around with the interface, and whichever one is more user friendly to “YOU” is the one you should buy. Its all personaly preference you cant go wrong with either of those brands.

    cannon eos 500d or nikon d3000 which one is better?

  16. The comparable model to the canon is the D5000 not the D3000. The T1I blows the D3000 away. Not even comparable.

    Both are good for photography.

    Canon seems to have the edge on video though, as they noticed the needs of amateur filmmakers and added all sorts of nice features like 24p, manual exposure etc.

    Nikon’s D3s and D700s probably have similar features though, only going by the d90 and d5000.

  21. Canon T1i is a lot better than the D5000 and it is miles away ahead from the D3000.

    The only thing that makes a difference is the Photographer.

  22. @vonjose888 Hi, do you have one of these? Please could you give me an indication of the size? I have a d300 at the moment, and I feel as though thats about the perfect size for me, I have big hands. And I want to upgrade, no I need to upgrade, please could you help out. Thanks

  23. @jabzulani yap iv got one of these 500d but if you really hv a big hand than i recmnt you to buy 5D or 7D bcoz 500D smaller than 50D..

    @vonjose888 ur kidding right??? Everyone with a slightly bit of DSLR knowledge knows that the D5000 is the superior camera above the 500D/ t1i……and that’s a fact….
