  1. Fail editing
    6:02 XD

  2. agh, mistaken 800, sorry

  3. just you.

  4. what a stupid looking box!! dont like the american names for the canon cameras.

  5. do you mount your mics on the hot shute?

  6. Smooth :)
Even then though, I’d still grab the Canon 40D. It’s a much better camera than the T2i but can be found used on Adorama/B&H for around the same price.

  7. i just bought this camera! it’s so fun to use for a noob dslr user like me :)

  8. with this camera u go from a noob level to average and maby later a PRO :D

  9. Wow a review from a seller about a product they are selling, who wouldn’t appreciate that.

  10. Maybe you could stop saying you can’t demonstrate something because the lens isn’t on by putting the lens on and then doing a proper demonstration? Just a thought.

  11. D90 still wins!

  12. @mykatamari but of course! t2i is a competitor to the d5000, not d90. although it’s coming close to the d90 in terms of features and image quality

  13. @aluxious so this uses the same sensor size? just like the T1i, cramming more info on the same size sensor?

  14. @mykatamari you were expecting a larger size sensor per megapixel increase? and that correlates to image quality, is that what you’re saying?

  15. @aluxious right! cause more MP for the same size sensor = picture has high chance comming out bad.

  16. @BlankMessageTV Eh, why not just save up for a 5D? Full-frame sensor.

Besides, some of us (like me) would like to take pictures now and don’t want to put photography off for two years while we save up 2k :P
And beyond that, as important as the body is, I think the lens is even more important. A 7D with the EF 18-55mm kit lens would come out with worse pics than an XSi with EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens (or, just for giggles, an L lens!)

  17. @mykatamari Of course it does, that’s an unfair comparison :P The D90 is a prosumer camera, while the T2i is an entry-level camera. That’s like comparing the Nikon D5000 to a Canon 50D!

  18. @mykatamari Eh, it’s an unfortunate trend with cameras. I’m actually looking at the Canon 40D over the 50D because of the very same issue. I’m fine with 5MP less if it means I can have less noise at higher ISO shots. Besides, 10MPs is much more than enough for me, I don’t even blow my pics up to an 8×10, let alone whatever size 10MP corresponds to.

honestly i rather get the 7d now that its fairly new.. in my opinion the 7d offers more than the 5d mark 2 i dont think a full frame is worth the thousand dollars when it lacks much more.. i rather buy the 7d then when the mark 3 comes out in a year or two purchase it always a good thing to have a back up bodey which my 7d will be .. a good ultra wide angle lens can make up for not being full frame for now

  20. @mykatamari ok thanks for the info. but as a newbie, i’d still rather rely on the pro’s detailed reviews, like dpreview or cameralab. while your generalization is almost always likely true, that’s not always the norm as the reviews say. it’s just being fair for each brand/model coming out–don’t judge them just yet ;-) cheers

I really hated some of your old tech videos. But this one was brilliant! It’s barely bias toward the camera which I really respect. As you are selling it yourself. Hope all your videos are more like this and that you fire that guy who knows nothing but think’s he’s funny, “so thats ok”. lol

  22. is there a restriction on the length of video recordings

  23. 12 mins for 1080p and 720p due to FAT file system. 29 mins in SD mode because if it goes over 30 mins, it’s considered a camcorder, and that is an added tax in Europe I believe. Something weird like that. It’s a great camera though!!

  24. Great video, thanks alot.
I was wondering though if you could take still photos while in the movie mode shooting videos, like the 5D mark ii. And also Is this camera good for landscape photography. thanks

  25. bracketing isn’t new to the rebels… the xti from a few years ago has bracketing
